Before you start
- A submitted SkillSelect EOI for Subclass 190 and / or 491.
- Your nominated occupation listed on **WASMOL Schedule 1** (the WA state occupation list — different from the federal MLTSSL / STSOL).
- A positive skills assessment matching your nominated occupation. Provisional 485 skills assessments are NOT accepted.
- Competent English (IELTS 6 / OET B / equivalent) across all four components in a single sitting. UK / CA / NZ / US / Republic of Ireland passport-holders are exempt.
- Either: 1 year of skilled employment (AU or overseas) in your nominated occupation; OR a 6-month full-time WA employment contract in the occupation; OR (Graduate stream) a Cert III+ from an accredited WA institution.
